PVD process | Titanized surfaces
The sheet metal surfaces are coloured using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology. This process involves the physical deposition of metal vapours onto the metal surface to create various coatings (oxides, nitrides, carbides), producing a vibrant, uniform and highly durable colour finish.
The finishes are temperature-resistant up to 200°C, durable and UV-resistant.
In addition to the finishes shown below, all pattern-rolled and patterned sheets can also be coloured using PVD technology. PVD-coloured surfaces can also be combined with chemical etchings.
They are produced according to Steel Color patterns. Slight variations in colour and brightness may occur due to the differing reflectivity of the base material. The colours are indicative and should not be considered as reference samples.
Technical notes
- The sheets have an uncoloured margin of 10 mm; the edges are uncoloured
- The sheets are coloured on one side: The A side is coloured, the B side is uncoloured
- Special dimensions - widths of 1000 mm and lengths up to 4000 mm are available on request
- Anti-Fingerprint treatment (“easy to clean”) is available on many finishes
