Acquisition of Dubourgeal SAS

On 17 October 2024 Dubourgeal held a lively party. Large numbers of clients, supporters and friends accepted the invitation. Dubourgeal is a family company with strong local roots, but now belongs to another company with an equally powerful family tradition: Notz Metal Inc.

Marie-Pierre welcomed the guests by saying “I feel moved this evening for my parents and I would like to pay homage to the generations that came before me. My thanks to the employees who have been with me for so many years, my children who have had to share their mother with the company, my spouse who joined me at the company 10 years ago and has helped me substantially, and you, my dear clients, partners and friends, for the confidence you have placed in me. As the years passed I was keen to find a way for the company to survive and flourish. Notz is a family company established 125 years ago, with great human and moral qualities. It knows our business inside out and we have everything we need to see the company develop. And we can do that while still keeping up the quality of service.” 

NOTZgroup CEO Alexander Catsiapis presented a bouquet of flowers to Marie-Pierre and said a few words to the guests. All the Dubourgeal staff were then invited onto the stage and Thomas Weber, Managing Director of the Trading Division, briefly introduced the team around new CEO Franck Bizel.

There were interesting discussions, a fine meal and musical entertainment, generating a relaxed party atmosphere that lasted until late in the evening.
