Precision meets tradition

Jacques Allemann supports Schwyz accordion maker after major fire

On Swiss National Day 2024, the workshop of Schwyz accordion maker Daniel Kaufmann in Mühlehorn on Lake Walen was destroyed in a major fire. Kaufmann was on the verge of going out of business but decided to resume his work anyway. He had to gather and reproduce everything from special tools and screws to wood.

After Jacques Allemann heard of the accordion maker's fate, we decided to support his company by supplying the precision metal rods necessary for his instruments. The precision bars come from our Jacques Allemann production, known for its highest quality and dimensional accuracy. These rods are used to make springs for the chord keys.

We are pleased to be able to support Daniel Kaufmann in rebuilding his Schwyz accordion workshop and wish him a successful new beginning.
