Health & Safety

Responsibility for safety and well-being

The safety, health and well-being of our employees are our top priority at NOTZgroup. As a responsible industrial company, we rely on a comprehensive occupational health and safety system that goes far beyond legal requirements.

At the same time, we have a holistic understanding of health: this also includes promoting mental resilience, a good work-life balance and healthy working conditions.

We create a working environment that conveys a sense of safety, strengthens trust and offers long-term prospects – because sustainable action begins with people at our company.

Occupational safety and prevention

The safety and well-being of our employees are our top priority. In close cooperation with the Swiss Accident Insurance Fund (SUVA), we implement comprehensive, preventive measures for health protection and accident prevention.

Equal pay and social benefits

Our employees benefit from attractive employment conditions – including an above-average pension fund policy that creates long-term social security.

As part of the “Check your Salary” initiative, we are actively committed to equal pay. As a partner company of alliance F – Switzerland’s largest non-partisan umbrella organisation for women – we send a clear signal for transparent wages. The project is supported by the federal government and offers an independent basis for fair remuneration.

”I think it is important that we play an active role in the company and are committed to equal pay. I am delighted that this is already the norm at our company.”

Krisztina Droux, Head of Human Resources

Work-life balance

We promote a good work-life balance – with flexible structures, healthcare services and an open culture of conversation. Individual development prospects are an integral part of our HR strategy.

Employee satisfaction

Regular, anonymous surveys provide valuable feedback on organisation, leadership and communication. The results are incorporated in a targeted manner into the further development of our working environment.

Apprentice promotion & junior staff development

Our apprentices help to shape the future of NOTZgroup. We offer them in-depth training, individual support and regularly take part in the Zukunftstag (Swiss Future Day) to give young people insights at an early stage.

NOTZgroup Future moves. Learning not only from books, but also through experience and interaction

Language training and specialist courses

As an internationally active company in a multicultural environment, we attach great importance to clear, stakeholder-oriented communication and offer our employees in-house language training in German, French and English with external teachers.

Individual career development

The need for further training is assessed annually in staff appraisals. Development paths and personal goals are discussed together and actively supported.

Involvement in industry associations

We are actively involved in various associations in order to jointly promote a sustainable, ethically responsible and innovative metal industry.
